Prototype using Scoundrel as inspiration

Goal: Descend as deep as you can. Clear all monsters in each room to progress.

Controls:

  • Click monsters to attack them
  • Drag items to equip (weapon/armor slots below health) or store (3 inventory slots)
  • Drag potions onto the Godot icon above your health bar to drink
  • Click "Next Room" when all monsters are defeated

Combat:

  • Your damage = Base Attack (3) + Weapon Value
  • Weapons lose durability equal to damage dealt minus base attack
  • Monsters counter-attack after you hit them
  • Armor absorbs damage until reduced to 0, then breaks

Items:

  • Weapons (swords): Attack value and durability in one
  • Armor (shields): Absorbs damage until durability reaches 0
  • Potions (bottles): Restore health (up to 20 max). Destroyed after one use.

Numbers: Bottom-right corner shows item's value (attack/defense/healing)

Progression: Items and monsters become stronger the deeper you go.

Death: Game ends when health reaches 0. Score = depth reached.
